Q. How often should I wash my car?
A. Weekly. Washing your car once a week will make sure any harmful deposits from the environment are removed.
Q. It just rained or snowed so why do I need to wash my car?
A. Pollutants like sulfuric and nitric acids from todays industry and automotive exhaust become trapped in the raindrops or Snow flakes that settle on your vehicles surface. The sun will evaporate the water and leave the concentrated acids that can damage your cars finish.
Q. What wax products are used at East Hill and Lansing Car Wash?
A. At East Hill and Lansing Car Washes we only use what we consider to be the very best soaps and products on the market today for the professional car wash.
Q. Does the Polish Wax really work?
A. Yes. The specially formulated polishes form a protective coating on the vehicles surface guarding against the suns harmful rays, acid rain, bugs, bird droppings and other substances that can harm the surface.
Q. Will the wax or polish from the car wash streak the outside of my windows?
A. No. The wax itself won't streak the outside windows. However, grease and oil from the road spray can get trapped underneath your wipers, which can cause the rainbow like streaks you may see. Wiper blades should be cleaned regularly with rubbing alcohol, between changes, to remove road oils.
Q. How long does the wax last?
A. It is a maintenance type wax. It will typically stay on the vehicles surface for a week or two. It is a great maintenance tool added to a professional hand wax which lasts up to six months.
Q. What is a "Spot Free Final Rinse"?
A. We use purified water generated by Reverse Osmosis that removes all minerals that normally leaves spots on your car.
Q. Will the car wash "brushes" scratch my car?
A. No. We use only 100% soft cloth to do the cleaning. There are no brushes in the car wash. The cloth is cleaned and rinsed during every wash with fresh water.
Q. Is the car wash safe for my convertible, vinyl or canvas topped vehicle?
A. Yes. Our state-of-the-art computerized car wash allows for gentle but effective washing.
